How do I safely buy a domain name from a domain name pirate?

I really need this domain name, but some pirate is sitting on it and doing absolutely nothing with it.

If you wish to incorporate a company and buy domain names using the name of the company (or a similar name) it is advisable to buy the domain name and the various permutations of the name before incorporating the company; once the domain name has been secured you can proceed to safely incorporating the company.

    (NB: In order to protect the effectiveness of the domain name as many permutations (as reasonably required according to your needs) should be purchased; this prevents a rival company/website using similar domain names).

    In urgent cases a company can be incorporated under a completely different name which can be changed after you have purchased the appropriate domain names.

  3. if it is for personal use then try another top level domain extension(may be .info,.us,etc) but if you are a registered business operating before the website was registered you can sue him/her.
    But most probably he bought that domain just to resell it at inflated prices(that is also a business).
    If there is a contact email address then contact him/her/them .
    Remember if you need it desperately then you will have to pay the price
    there is no guarantee to the accuracy to information provided
